Training of Trainers Workshop for Awareness and Advocacy on Acceptance and use of Assistive Technology

The successful completion of our 3-days ‘Training of Trainers Workshop for Awareness and Advocacy on Acceptance and use of Assistive Technology’ conducted by Phensem Parents Support Group with support from Bhutan Foundation, from May 21 to 23, 2024, 21 dedicated participants, including teachers, parents, and staff from Thimphu, Paro, Zhemgang, Buli, Panbang, Gelephu, Mongar and Phuentsholing.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Namita Jacob, Inclusion Specialist from India, the workshop focused on empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to champion the acceptance and use of assistive technology. The engaging sessions included hands-on demonstrations, interactive discussions, and practical strategies for integrating assistive technology into educational and daily settings.
